Is It Turned On?
This should go without saying, but it’s worth mentioning anyway. If your home’s heating and cooling system is not turned on, the first thing you should do is check to see if it’s receiving power. Aside from checking that it’s plugged in properly, you should also inspect the circuit breaker to verify that it hasn’t tripped. If so, turn the circuit breaker off, wait around 10 seconds, then switch it back on again. If your system uses fuses, be sure to replace blown out ones.
